Quadrocopter project

I plan to build a quad in order to get more familiar with electric motors, electronics, flying a remote operated vehicle (ROV), and to have some fun.  I would like to do constructive things with the quad.
I need to come up with some constructive ideas later.  For now I will be patiently waiting for the parts to get here.

The parts I will order might be from WWW.HOBBYKING.COM website.   A few items I might order could get back-ordered, thus I will have to wait at most two weeks for them to get to me from Hong Kong.
